| hello everyone my Name is Sigga and i live in Iceland i got my beautiful boy Topaz from Irma in july this year i visited Irma and my Topaz in Finland in mai and he started his long journe in june.. and finally he arriwed in my arms in july :applause2: he is such a sweetheart. he does not like to talk to strangers but after he has meet them a few times they are his best friends :backhug: i just want to thank Irma one more time for trusting me for this lovely boy he is more than i hoped for.. he will enter his first dogshow in october and hopefully he will do good :) i am looking forward to learn more about this wonderful breed here on this forum i know you are all great teachers   | |

I´m glad he´s doing fine. He looks very good in the photo you posted in your introduction.

| Hello from the Isle of Man, we are not too far from Iceland I think ! well we are nearer than anyone else !! and we have many similarities, for example we have the 2nd oldest parliament after Iceland.
We hope you enjoy Topaz as much as we enjoy our Silkies. Good luck with the show in October please let us know how you do there.
Is Topaz the first Silky in Iceland ?

| thank you :) no he is not the first silky in iceland.. there is alot of them here.. but not many that are really good for the breed there is also a new male from sweden that was imported this summer hopefully i see him at the show in october.. we only have 3 shows per year.. you can see the silky terriers in iceland on this page http://silkyterrier.is/?a=200click the names and see the pedigrees and sometimes photos(Topaz is not on this page yet) | |

Great to hear from you and Topaz. It was a pleasure to meet you in May when you visited Finland.
Best luck for the coming show in October. The shows are good fun, especially when your dog is a puppy. And please send some photos from the show and let us know which other silkys were there as well. | |

Hi Tanya! I miss you all an awful lot!! What a wonderful summer I did have, I'm really (indescribably) thankful to you and your mum. Here in Finland it is so quiet at home without all the dogs. And how big Mira looked in my eyes when I got home after being mainly with silkys & bolognese!! I'm really looking forward to Darlington and seeing you all again!!
