Today a lot of hard work finally paid off!!!

Bombix Moren In Solido "Kira" was best in junior class, got her first CAC and was 4th best bitch

Thank you Irma for giving me the confidense that I´m on the right track with Kira :backhug:
And Thank you Irma and Virginia for breeding such a beautiful boy Mavira and giving me the chance to use him for my Iiris

I will give you the total results when I come down from this cloud (don´t expect that to happen any time soon )

Topy was 3rd in Ch Class with excellent, maybe he wasn't the type our judge Annaliisa Heikkinen was looking for. We almost could not go to the whole show so I am very pleased and thankful to Tintti and Irma for all your help and advice, which made this show possible to us!

Below you will find some photos I want to share with you, they have been taken yesterday.

Topy tällä kertaa sai tyytyä valioluokan kolmanteen sijaan arvosanalla erinomainen, ehkä ei tainnut poika ollut tuomarimme Annaliisa Heikkisen tyyppiä.
Kuitenkin emme meinanneet edes pystyä lähteä koko näyttelyyn viikonloppuna, joten olen todella kiitollinen Tintille ja Irmalle, jotka mahdollistivat menomme ko. näyttelyyn!

And then I want to add congratulations to my dear friend Noora Jyly, who handled a Silky for the first time ever in a Junior Handling competition at Lahti INT show. There were all in all around 99 handlers and Topy and Noora were among the 20 (around 20, I did not count) best handlers! The four best handlers in this competition represent Finland in Junior Handling at Nordic Winner show in Stockholm!

Ja vielä suuret onnittelut hyvälle ystävälleni Noora Jylylle, joka esitti silkkiä junnuissa Lahdessa ensimmäistä kertaa elämässään ja pääsi Topyn kanssa noin 20 parhaan joukkoon yhteensä noin 99 kilpailijasta! (Toivottavasti muistin luvut oikein) Kisa oli siis PMV-karsintakilpailu, eli valittiin neljä parasta, jotka lähtevät edustamaan Suomea PMV:n junnuihin joulukuussa ja viides on varajäsen.

Well done Kira and Jutta, what a fantastic result, it is always such a hard job to handle the young ones! I am so glad that you have had the faith in your convictions, for how you want your type of Silky to be, and that this win is extra special to you because it has proven your ever growing knowledge in the breed, for spotting the one that has the best qualities, so I am so happy for you Jutta, what a great feeling it must be for you This is just the start of things to come, I am sure Big kisses and hugs to you both

Terhi well done with Topy yesterday, I know it isn't the result that he should have had, but keep your chin up, at the end of the day, it is one persons opinion on the day, you pay your money and take your chances! It is just such a shame that the judge was not able to see the all the wonderful qualities that this special little boy has He obviously wasn't the judges type, but there will be plenty more shows both there and here where he will shine

Topy looks lovely on the photo's his coat is so shinny, and he stands so perfectly, absolutely flawless Teri, you should be so very proud of him, he always looks so good I love the picture of your friend handling him, in the junior handling, he looks so happy in his movement, I can hardly wait to get in the ring with him, just looking at him there, I just want to pick the lead up and set off around the ring with him, I wish the time would come and hurry up and be here right now

Congratulations to Noora Jyly for being shortlisted in the junior handling, and to Tintti and Irma for all their hard work with Topy, what a terrible night you had before the show, Terrance, I am glad I wasn't there with you, sounds far too stressful, but this is the world of dogs after all

Tanya, you are so right about handling these young ones! It is a very hard job! Kira has been terrible, she has too much energy and no patience
But in Lahti she showed her ass (pardon my language) off for me
She did everything the way it should ´ve been done, I was so proud of her

This is the critic that Kira got from the judge (freely translated to english)

Excellent type. Good size and propotions. Beautiful head. Good neck and topline. Well angulated front and back. Moves and shows very well. Good tailset. Correct texture of coat. Colour is changing. Pleasing temperament.

Sigga, I´m very sorry but I forgot my camera at home .

I am glad that you liked Kira´s photo! Tanya, you are right, Kira looks just like Mavira I don´t see anything from Iiris in her. I mated Iiris and Mavira for a reason and I got everything I hoped I would from that combination
