TO PUT THE RECORD STRAIGHT as on other forums it implies we are not doing well. Quite the contrary.
We
deliberately only have the young Silkies here and are proud of that, it is a nice relaxed time for them to get used to shows.
Marty is with Tanya in Isle of Man.
Marty has nothing to prove here, he has beaten all the top dogs in Europe that he has challenged, including World Show Winner many times, he is top winning Silky in UK for 2nd year now. So he is having a well earned rest until the rest of the Uk Ch shows this year and of course Crufts 2009 when he looks forward to taking on the best again !! UK shows are much more important to us and are much greater competition than will ever happen in the breed in Ireland.
As ever other people brag they are having a walkover here, let them !!! because they have most of the time been unopposed in their classes(you can read full results on
www.showdogsireland.ie). We never expected to win BOB or BB with our young bitches. They have all been awarded Excellent or in the case of puppies Very Promising grades. Lucy and Beau have done very well in the UK in the last month or so, you dont win Puppy stakes at UK Ch shows unless you are top quality. Welsh Kennel Club the last UK Ch show was a great day for Bombix Moren breeding, winning not only BOB,RBOB, BPB, RBB buta win and placement in stakes classes for Marty 3rd Ch stakes and Beau MPB Stakes.
