A busy weekend in the UK for shows. We did not go to LKA only to the Club show as it was our first trip away with baby Isabella and a trial run !
and then my laptop blew up so I could not send the results in until we got home.
At LKA Tracey Norrey and the jointly owned bitch I bred and co-own with her son Craig
CLYNYMONA TAHTI (known as Kerry) won RBOB in AVNSC.
Kerry then went on to the Potteries Open Show on Sunday and won AVNSC Toy and Toy Gp 2
At the AST of Great Britain Club show we had a great turnout for the show and lunch. A few of judges came along including Liz Stannard who is the breed representative at the Kennel Club and who is also on the coat testing committee. She takes a keen interest in our breed and is of course our Crufts 2009 judge. I pray no one will be foolish enough to attempt to colour any of their Silkies coats or tamper with noses at Crufts, and put our breed to shame, as Liz will be taking a very careful look at this and all exhibits. There has been so much very bad publicity recently about show dogs in the press and media, we dont want our breed next on the list to be shamed.
The judge at the Club show was Paul Eardley (Sherex) he is the most famous breeder and exhibitor of Australian Terriers in the UK. His judging was a little difficult to follow as he gave top awards to very different types of dogs. He really like the young dogs.
BOB Reyes and Sharp-Dixon Curiosity to talk About Kiacieko (he is just out of puppy)
