We know what we need to know and the judges
have choose the best one on every rings,
this is the facts.
One famous breeder said once when her
breed dog won BOB " well, okey , this means that
there was no better then".
I am glad when I can "quote" this breeder and it is nice to know that
on these shows there was
no better dogs than our dear Marty, who have
got BOB this reason.
It is now Martys time as Virginia wrote, and all of us
know that one day there will be an other who take
his place. BUT all serious breeders also know that
like this it need to be. It is not good marks of breeds
if the winners are only over 10 years age. To go on
with breeding and race, the youngsters need to take
the places from veterans,
if not, I would be very worried of my breeding.
This is breeder point of view in my mind.
It is time to get titles and time to have
some fun and wins, but then we need to go on with
younger dogs.
BUT also I must remind again,
that
it is never only a dog.
On this it is Tanya + Marty together. Tanya have done a great work with Marty. She
wait long time to get him to the TOP.
Marty was very promising in Finland and shows too,
but it is not easy to training a male like Marty
and keep his coat perfect. If I did not find as professional
person as Tanya and Virginia to take care of Marty,
he probably was not as TOP as he is today.
